Wallis® Dynamic Stabilization
Dynamic stabilization offers a much less invasive alternative to traditional methods and, unlike other procedures, is completely reversible. The wallis implant reduces the abnormal loads through the disc and facet joints.
Wallis® Dynamic Stabilization
The traditional operation for problems caused by wear and tear in
the spine, spinal fusion, can seem a very major and rather
daunting prospect.
Recent developments have allowed real improvements in these operations. Even so, there is clear appeal in the concept of less radical surgery which aims to protect and support the affected parts of the spine. This is the concept of dynamic stabilization, and it offers a much less invasive and destructive alternative and, unlike other procedures, is completely reversible.
Nick Boeree was responsible for introducing this technique to the UK and has been the lead investigator in the multi-centred international study undertaken to examine the safety and the effectiveness of this new surgical technique. He continues to be actively involved in the training and education of other surgeons in this procedure and the principals behind dynamic stabilization and is regularly invited to lecture on the subject at international spine meetings.

I’d been seen at my local hospital and had a scan. They said 'it’s just wear and tear, live with it’. Great!! So life has to stop, does it? But the tests you arranged (and quickly I might add) clearly identified the problem, as you were able to show us
